About us
Bullerman Angus Farm was established in 1990 by Tom and Trish Bullerman in Adrian, MN with the purchase of two Angus heifers. Over the next 33 years, they developed and expanded the herd to 150 registered cows focusing on building a highly maternal herd that excelled at adding muscle, performance, and pounds for their customers.
In the fall of 2023, Tom and Trish had a retirement dispersal sale transitioning the program to their son, Tyler, and his wife, Hilary. Through extensive embryo transfer work, they were able to retain the cornerstone genetics that had been a staple of the herd for the previous 33 years. Those genetics remain the backbone of the program today.
Tom always liked big cows. He believed it takes a big cow to consistently wean big calves. However, a good cow had to be more than just big, she had to have extra muscle shape, substance of bone, good feet, and a nice udder. Those qualities can still be seen in our herd today along with an emphasis on body capacity and fleshing ability while maintaining frame size.
